DON'T PANIC
What efficiency gains is your business leaving on the table?
Most businesses are losing hours a week to work that doesn't need a human. I find where it's happening, fix the cheap wins, train your team, and automate what's worth automating.
“Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.”

Second greatest computer in all of time and space. We aim higher.

The Friction Audit
We start with a free discovery call. If it looks like there's something worth finding, I scope and price the audit to your business. No packages, no retainer, no obligation.
Then I go looking. A couple of conversations with the people doing the actual work, a look at the documents and processes they deal with every day, and an honest read on what's slowing you down. You get a written report covering four things.
Where the friction is.
The processes costing you the most time, ranked, with rough numbers attached. Usually at least one of them surprises the leadership team.
What's fixable this week.
The low-hanging fruit. Changes that cost nothing and pay back immediately.
Whether you've got the right tools.
An honest look at what you're paying for, what's overlapping, what's missing, and what you could stop buying.
Where this goes next.
A twelve-month view, in order of what pays back soonest, including who inside your business needs to own it.
“I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.”
If I go looking and find nothing worth acting on, I'll tell you that plainly and there's no invoice.
WHAT USUALLY COMES NEXT
Where it tends to lead
An audit is a diagnosis. Two things usually follow.
- 01
Training your team.
Your people already have AI tools. Most of them are using them badly, or not at all, because nobody has shown them what good looks like on their own work. I run sessions with real teams on real tasks. Not a webinar, not a slide deck about the future of work. Your quotes, your reports, your inbox.
- 02
Automations and AI agents.
Once we know which processes are costing you most, we build the thing that handles them. Quotes that draft themselves, reports that assemble themselves, the handover between two systems that a person is currently doing by hand. Built properly, and with honest measurement, so you know it's working rather than just looking impressive.
- 03
And then someone has to keep it alive.
New staff, new tools, new processes. Some clients keep me on a light retainer for exactly that. Others take it in-house, which is a perfectly good outcome and one I'll help you plan for.
“Mostly harmless.”
Building a product without a technical co-founder?
That's a different problem and I do that too. Architecture reviews, keeping your development agency honest, technical hiring, and the decisions that are expensive to reverse. Fractional CTO work, for founders who need someone in their corner who can read the code.

Tell me what's going on. I'll come back within a business day, and if I'm not the right person for it I'll say so.
